The mid-year launch of 3G by MTN was dependant on market demand for Vodacom's 3G service...so far very few people have subscribed to the service just from my observation. This message was posted from a T68i

According to voda all you need to use 3g is a 3g phone, or the data card. No subscribing, but if you dont have the 3g contract you pay the same for 3g than noRmal gprs. And there wont be alot of 3g users yet, coz of the fact that the only 3g phone over here, that i know of, is moto.

@brix. You said that k 6and v800 will be exclusive to MTN, how can this be if v800 is exclusive to vodafone in uk at the mo? I may be wrong.

@Rhino: I think I said the Z800...the unbranded version of the V800 without the Vodafone menu. This message was posted from a T68i

@Rhino8: Ouch, I can't believe you would keep a name that stems from that incident, but it does sound cool.
Don't you guys wish SE would make a more aesthetically pleasing clamshell phone, like some of the samsungs. Candy bar wise i feel that SE are right on the money but their clamshell range just don't do it for me.
@all, please guys, some have you have some seriously interesting handles and Rhino8 and i are the only one's saying how we got ours. Whats your inspiration?

I got this name from a famous South Africa football player of the 80s who played for my favourite team Sundowns...BTW his name was "Bricks" Mudau...I'm also a huge fan of the 80s "Brix" video game...endless hours of frustration.
