like i said $600 or nearest offer, ppl always try and tak u down with price, plus it has a bluetooth headset that's $190 so i figured 600 was a good starting point, and the phone has no sim lock

hey all,
Im after a Sony Erricson K700i, whats the best deal going around you have found? I'm looking to go on a contract.
I was looking at a cap plan but you have to pay $15 off the phone every month so its totally useless. Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks

@hoff
welcome to esato mate, its good to see more aussies here.
brand new unbranded K700i for $549 and then go on a byo plan so you dont pay the monthly handset fee.
http://www.techoni.com.au
they are really fast delivery
that really pisses me off because about 2 months ago i payed $649 for mine from the same site
hope this helps

@davo
thanks davo. I was actually thinking of going on the Yes 45 Plan with Optus. There is no upfront fee, no monthly repayments and best of all they have that deal where, if you send 3 sms's in one day the next 30 for that day are free (im a big sms user). Just wanted to see if anyone else found good plans but this one seems the best for me I think. I spend $45 a month anyway...

if you are on the east coast you may want to try
www.ow.com.au
they are about the same price. i recommend buying outright and then getting a pre- or post-paid PAYG deal. i did that with voda because i could still get the "no plans" post-paid deal. if i were doing it now i would do the same, although i'd probably be forced into a pre-paid deal (which for me is kinda annoying - i have a paranoia about running out of credit at the critical moment

)
