Just a thought. There is russian cam, acoustic, display modding forum http://www.senews.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=5289&page=200.
Modder SPU recently published camdriver v1.3 (on the top of page).
Its VERY extended variant of 8.53, 8.54 with the damn HUGE set of different setting. For example he used cam menu subset "effects" to choose 4 variant of WB+ (SPOT or Central Weighting) mode. Its too hard to manage camera, but interesting idea.
For example to use "Solarize" item to turn on/off VIVID mode...
If it is intresting may be SPU will download this driver in suitable site... Coz u should register to download smth...

ive played around with using the effects submenu, but my aim is to have a simple easy to use camdriver.. so im sticking to that philosophy.

hopefully today or tomorrow ill release 5.6.. based on 4.81 with some tweaking and bugfix for the LED ENM white balance bug. stay tuned.

the Russian modders seem to be on the cutting edge of things.. i hope the w810 users here have heard the news that we can use GSlide to patch our firmware now, thanks to the Russian enthusiasts not all the patches have been written/ported yet, but a few of them work great.. like smaller font for "Now playing" in the walkman player and operator logo.. faster ff/rew speed.. few more im forgetting.. maybe soon we'll be able to upload camdrivers without having to use FAR manager.. lets hope

My driver isn't connected with 8.53, 8.54 at all. It based on orignal SE drivers + main idea of supermod and a little bit of code from ChengRong's one (very old).
