I see you have the 037 firmware which is probably much more stable than mine. Unfortunately I'm stuck with the 029 firmware for the moment. It's not a fault with the phone, it's just bad firmware. All K850s will suffer from the issues present in the firmware, and some firmware will have different issues than others.

It appears that the 038/039 firmwares are the best performance wise, and while not perfect a lot of bugs are fixed, however apparently the firmware drains battery much more quickly. 037 appears to fix many of the 029 bugs and doesn't have the battery issue.

I don't think it's entirely true that ALL K850s will suffer because of firmware problems. I am on 038 and, having charged my phone on Saturday morning, it's still reporting 26% battery life on Weds night/Thurs morning after pretty normal usage, so my particular handset doesn't have the battery drain problem others are reporting. I'd guess that slightly different components going into different batches of the phones/batteries may make a difference. It's also possible that SE are making tweaks to the hardware as they go along; for example, a PS3 you buy now is quite different to one you may have bought last year in terms of components and hardware, despite the badge on the front.

And I'm sure you can get it cheeper in Amst.

Big deal! You can keep the adapter and throw away the headphones.Or make a knots with its cord and play rosary when you get nervous... =)

Guys do you all still remember the k750i bug about battery life giving wrong information??
I think it appears to reside in this 038 firmware too xD

The newest Firmware is 038 right? How come when I go to update my firmware it keeps telling me that I have the latest firmware but I still have the 037 firmware ? Does anyone know why? Thanks in advance!

coz 038 isn't available for unbranded generic phones.
(it has been discussed many times earlier in this thread, so u should search in the forum b4 posting)
