Indeed! In addition, the overheating wasn't as serious as those reports in forum. The camera will shut off only after prolong 4K video recording.

Z3+ pre-production device destroys Z3+ final unit in benchmarks!!!
"The pre-production unit churned out far superior numbers compared to the retail one we received and we can't quite put a finger on the reason. Perhaps Sony has issued some throttling to the CPU in order to reduce heating but we can't be sure."

Considering the recent news, leaks and sony tradition, we should expect more substantial leaked info about a month before expected september 4-5th sony flag ifa announcement event, s820 inside, and november world launch. those mediatek devices are not despite the confusing high end spec...

Guys, Apparently the overheating waring issued by DoCoMo was faked. DoCoMo did not sanction the signage that was showed in various reputed "Tech" blog. Most likely Samesung's paid shill create a fake waring card and took a image and give it to Samsung's PR department. Samsung's PR department took this and make their paid blog spread the news. Only samesung can pull this kind of dirty trick. Read the full article.

Why? Because they did test the Z3+? Is that shameful?
It comes with no surprise to me that retail unit which had heating issue "solved" with software is actually slower than the heating pre-release unit...
You can do the same with your PC, overclock the CPU to get better result with the cost of overheating. Besides who cares about benchmark? I remember a software trick in X10 that could make it 5x faster in benchmarks, but what of it if it was still slow? Is it a measurment of your dick, or a thing to brag with friends "My phone has 30000 score in benchmark X, look how cool I am"?
Do people became stupid all of a sudden? Instead of going for better battery life, better camera quality, it seems like all the customers wants these days is higher bernchmark score which results in no actual improvement in usage of a phone, it's pitiful...

OK, lets discuss this. If Sony really caped SD810's cpu power then why the f**k their battery life also take a hit in gsmarena's battery life test? Shouldn't less powerfull and less overheating processor also contribute in much better battery life? Same thing happens to M9, before the "update" it has pitiful battery life but after the update their battery life has gotten batter, Anandtech said this. Read their review on M9. Gsmarena benchmarking doesn't make any sense at all. I wish anandtech review Z3+ and showed how much better battery life it has over its competitions. and Gsmarena can't even determine at what brightnesss they do their battery test. What a joke of a tech site. I'll wait for notebookcheck.net or anandtech's review before calling Z3+ a failure.
