Try updating the phone in recovery mode and see if this helps.

@HeRbie
The one that came with my BT dongle 2 years ago (WIDCOMM). But I also use fma, my phone explorer. But usually I just make my selection which files I want to transfer, mark them and right mouse button->send to-> bluetooth-> k750i and everything works fine. Both comp and phone are paired before that. The only things I can't send this way are java games and application, I send them one by one.

I tried searching "r1n, bluetooth slow" and a few other similar searches, but to no avail. So I'll ask in here:

on r1n035 k750

anyone else notied a slowdown in BT file transfer? I transfer at a rather slow speed, I'd estimate 10-15 kbps, to my dell axim x51v. When I tested it with a win mobile device I used to get 40kbps.
I looked at the feature list of this new firmware and it didn't say anything about a BT slowdown.

Mine is the same way. I just bought the bluetooth adapter too. I won't transfer large files anymore via bluetooth. I will use the cable. Much faster.

This is probably due to the MS Duo file corruption bug, The same slowdown happens on the usb cable when the file tranfer fails.

I believe I've identified a reason why MS Duo cards are gettign corrupted. Like others, my card was corrupted whilst copying a large file (in my case, a 70mb video) to the card.

Basically, the top level folder ended up being full of crud and I lost 400mb of data (all backed up of course)...

So I formatted the card whilst in the phone using the "format ext mem" option in file manager. Fine, except it did it again.

So, I tried a R1L002 phone with the card. It worked, unlike my R1N035 O2 branded K750i. Time to do some work.

To cut a long story short, it appears that the R1N035 firmware doesn't verify-write whilst in USB slave mode (i.e. working as a USB memory stick). One little issue, and there goes your memory stick.

I've also noticed that a large number of SE USB host cables don't make a clean connection to the fastport on the phone. The same issue appears to happen with the CDS-60 stand. And I believe SE know's about this issue, as the P900 and W900 phone's have less embedded fastport connectors as the W800 & K750 phones. Only by .5 mm, but that's enough to make a better connection...
