You don't have a house. Therefore you don't have to waste any money on the cost of living.

You also lack the freedom to do your own things, live by your own rules and drive off whenever you feel like it

You can't even come and pick me up from the airport and swiftly drive me to yoyur place, should I suddenly decide to come visit.

Usually.... the extra expenses are well worth the convenience of having a car at my disposal all the time

Thought you had a nova mix? I obviously missed something!

Thing I don't get about The Day After Tomorrow is, why on earth did the father go to his son in the first place???

Couldn't he have saved himself an awful lot of time and arrived 10 minutes later in one of the chinooks???

That would have also prevented the demise of one of his friends, as well as the potential demise of himself + one other!

Nice effects - dumb film.

yeah I was thinking much the same thing about the father. Actually it was a very thin story line around some fantastic visual effects

I saw that on Saturday and took the kids to the first session of Harry Potter on Monday which, even though its not my thing and have never read any of the books, was quite enjoyable. Probably moreso due to the time travel component but I'll not spoil it any more than that
