Guys how long do you charge your z? It takes too long on mine. 6hrs -frm 17% to 100
Did you use old charger?
I had the same "problem" cause I used my old phone charger... when I changed to the original one from the Z box the device start to charging something like 70% for 40min.
i used the in-box charger. then i switched chargers, using the one from ray's.
still the same - as of 735pm, 95%. i started 1pm

Use any original cable, cheap cables will charge too slow.. even other brand ( Sammy, Moto, HTC ) original cable are good...

@bronxdude: What is the output of the ray charger?. if its significantly lower than the Z's, that might be the cause of the problem.
I used the one from my old arc and it was quite slower, when i checked, the Arc's charger has an output of 850mA while the one from my T has an output of 1200mA.

That`s strange I also used Ray charger when the phone charges slowly.
You sad your phone is new... I recomend to wait for two weeks for the batery to get up to speed, and if the problem still occur to go for a replacement, but you should get at least one full discharge-charge cycle (till the device shut down itself and then charging it for at least 8hours). I did this two times with every new phone I get, and never had battery problems.

Show us a screenshot of the battery percentage over time during charging, after using the Ray charger for a couple hours and the in the box Z charger for a couple of hours.
