I know in Nigeria and Kenya they've got an SNO. Talking of number porting, in the US you can port your cell number to your landline and vice versa. Icasa are you listening?

@Amawanqa, still patiently waiting for a reply to my emails... Popped in earlier @ Cellucity, what a pleasant experience to speak to their staff. I met 3 of the most knowledgeable young ladies ever, who actually knew what a w800i, k750i, etc is. I'd do business with them anytime.

Currently savouring my last taste of SA cuisine for a year or 2 at the incredible Monte Casino in Fourways,Jozi. An entire (virtual) Eytie town indoors and out.Phenomenal attention to detail.
Got 5 long hours to kill in Frankfurt tomorrow morning, before the connecting flight to London City Airport.Really hoping to explore some teutonic cellphone shops and see what they have to offer, compared to UK and SA.

Right now I'm aboard one of the SA Navy's newest corvette's- SAS Isandlwana. The boat is part of the controversial arms procurement process.
I'm covering a meeting of African navy chiefs in Cape Town. Will post my pictures later.
