getting the hang of this...

i'll try to take pictures with lots of colors as well...i'm still experimenting with the camera settings....actually when i take pictures i need not adjust the settings, sometimes i use macro and photo light...any suggestions on what's the best settings in taking pictures? thanks

Yes, dont take pictures of a black dog against a bright, white, or pure white background.

It forces the camera to increase the brightness to make the black dog's detail come to the fore, and ends up burning the background out completely white.
