I just think that we don't celebrate enough 'British' holidays, those times when we can remember and celebrate what it means to be British. I should point out before anyone flames me that I am in no way meaning religious holidays or festivals. I am thinking of events such as Battle of Britain Day or the Last Night of the Proms. There seems to be this awful feeling that one shouldn't be proud to be British, I say sucks boo to that! We have a wonderful country that has arguably the most diverse and multicultural society on Earth and we should be damned proud of all that we have achieved. Huzzah for Blighty!
