True, but then again Samsungs always look like shit but sell millions. Not that I necessarily want everyone running around with a SE but they do need some better Sales and this one has again the potential to put X12 to the shadows...
Anyway back to topic, announcement anyone?

Screen size both are the same, screen quality not sure what screen X12 is using but I would put it around at par with Sammy
Processor - X12 certainly has an edge over Sammy here. 1.5 ghz dual core vs 1.2 ghz orion on paper. In real world I expect both to be equal though.
GPU - TI OMAP4 uses the SGX540 whereas Orion GPU is 5x faster than SGX540. hmmm
Looks - For Sure X12
Features - Both would be evenly matched on this one.
Camera - Both can do 1080p but X12 camera is definitely better than the Samsung
Multimedia - I'd have to say it looks like the X12 will be a multimedia beast and will have a very slight edge over Sammy.
So overall, X12 is a little better than the Sammy, the sammy doesn't overshadow the X12 in anything except for perhaps GPU. But then we don't have the specs yet for the X12 GPU and I expect
have done something about the GPU. Lets wait and watch
And who said this Samsung will be out before the X12?
X12 announcement is expected around Christmas, it might be out in some markets by the time Sammy gets announced in Feb. In any case I am willing to bet the X12 will make it earlier than Samsung

Well its not confirmed but apparently it is the Mali 400 quad core GPU
But don't bother much about the "5 times the power" gimmick. Its just that - a marketing gimmick. In real world performance there won't be any significant difference and also keep in mind that there are hardly any games to make use of that much power. Sure it will appeal to the "benchmark crazy" people but in real world usage no significant difference. SGX540 is too powerful for today's mobile games already.
And then again its not confirmed that it will use the Orion chipset, it might as well be using the 1.2 ghz dual core Snapdragon.
Considering the fact that Samsung mentioned it still needs to do some work on the Orion platform for it to be completely ready to be used. Maybe the Samsung flagship for second half 2011 will have the orion chipset and not this phone.
P.S. Just noted that the Galaxy S successor is using WVGA resolution
X12 has it beat then in terms of screen I guess
X12 will have atleast XGA or WXGA screen resolution
