the absurd is that they gave the iphone 5c score of 8.6 !!
they gave the qx100 6.8 !!!!
look at every laptop they review, at the end of the review it will be like that:
if you want the good stuff buy a Mac.
for me the verge was never good, they suck.

It seems even if the Z1 had a remarkable screen, they'd simply find something else to shoot it down with.. maybe audio or something.
Where did he write that? At the end he says he prefers Z1 over G2. I thought most of the critique was realistic, the screen is dissapointing, the camera software is lacking and it should have shipped on 4.3 software.

Yea, i know. but as a whole, the verge, should communicate more so that their ratings aren't so personalized because an everyday user coming by would just look at the ratings and think.. oh hey the verge thinks A is better than B.. and not realize that the difference in points could be due to a difference in personal preference.
like you said, misleading and, i think, irresponsible for such a well known website.

Hope Sony sorts this camera out as that's another two reviews that have said the camera isn't as good as it seems and that stuttering when recording on the pocketnow video is shocking for a phone with such a powerful processor and 2GB Ram.

Agree. Vlad is a good reviewer. If you listen to their podcasts you realize that he is a disappointed Sony-fanboy. He knows Sony can do better and when they do he will praise it. If the screen was better it would have been 8.5 easily
I still can't believe they send out phones with bad displays to reviewers, they seriously need to fire some guys over at the PR department

Sony Mobile to me still seems like a Japanese market focus company. They keep all their best stuffs even the best version of the same device in the domestic market and everywhere else is half ass. They have improved over the years but not enough.
