Just curious as to the name selection for the ships.Maybe you can ask the admiral or rear admiral if you have the opportunity...

lol @ Amawanqa, you do know that in American medical circles, the term Rear Admiral is used to refer to a proctologist... Seriously though, if memory serves the Rear Admiral used to be the most junior chap on the Admiralty list.

Yeah,if my military memory also serves me correctly,the rear admiral is indeed further down the pecking order of the admiralty.

We're sailing from CT Harbour to Simonstown and so far I've failed the sailing test... I'm feeling quite seasick. Earlier I went up to the bridge and have to say the ship is equipped with quite advanced navigation and weapons systems on board.

@Brix, hope you got the infirmary to give you some seasickness tabs... Altho if you really laid it on thick you could end up with your head on the lap of that cute nurse while she soothes your feverish brow... Just remember, gravely ill ppl usually won't be found wapping :-)
