Firmware 2.70 is deffo out, I have it on my PSP. It hads a host of new features, including flash support for the internet, you can now play AAC files, Chinese language available, album art available too. I think theres others but I cant remember.

I cant find the link, but I did a network update.

It is now available in Europe, America and Japan (US and Japan got it first)

The future for homebrew on 2.70 looks very uncertain. It has been patched well and now exploit, including the GTA exploit works. It looks like this could be the end for homebrew on firmwares 2.70 and above.

Well I have, 2 reasons. Firstly homebrew pissed me off, lacked a lot of things I wanted, plus after bricking a PSP it put me off. Secondly, my PSP has a dodgy d-pad, so I want to send it to Sony to get a replacement, so I dont want to give them any excuse to say it is void due to homebrew etc, if its got 2.70 on it the chances are they will think it has been continuously updates.

Anyone got any info on PSP warranty? I cant find any email addresses to email or numbers to call, please help.

Cheers

people can put anything onto homebrew, including things to screw your psp up. My screen is all gay, theres all these black spots on the outside of the screen, and to get them off you have to scratch em off, causing scratches. Does anyone know if displex works (from your own experiences)
