Mostly the extravagance, gifts (dowry?) n show of opulence takes it much higher..

LoL.. its pretty understandable.. lets say atleast I can relate to Amar..
For me too, financial security & stability is important in that...
call me chauvinistic, but I would want to be fully capable of "taking care" of my family before comitting more.
And the "fear of unknown" especially in shaadi etc. definately works overtime.. future, doubts, Iff Butts..

But Sai, i dont understand for my feelings it looks like he is pushin me away for him. No dates and stuff no marriage, for me it feels pretty shit... Maybe i have these feelings because im a girl but it really f**ked up everything for me. I could not sleep last night. But when he called in the morning he did like everything was normal :-l

from his P.O.V. things probably ARE normal...
..as for you saying that you're a girl... well.. as many a jokes are already written the even God cant know/ understand true feelings of Wymn...
So its not within my realm to comment.. but yes maybe his view is one of maturity & doing this for your common future..
If you want.. coax his to 'live' the present too..
The anxieties that one partner might have AND the frustration that another has .. is both imaginable..
Tricky thing is talking across the table (or counselling via common friend/ relative) may or may not always work

Good Morning mates !
12:15 am / January 18th . . not that late in the office
@ali_baba - Better get the Motorola MPX 200! Good Luck!
@janet - Ask your GUY if the house he'll be buying/buiding or what have he . . is for you both in the future

If yes, make SURE first that your NAME is written (as co-owner) in the TITLE ! Here in my place, it is but of necessary for the GUY (for some) to find a place (home for that matter) FIRST prior to marriage . . . so that the GIRL will be secured after their HONEYMOON! You know the HIT and RUN thing

Be patient more babe, better ask the GUY what are his plans for you, if you think you are not included in it . . . it's time to LOOK for another Tom Cruise

Perhaps this time choose - Brad Pitt!
@sanj - Hi to you too pal !
