Dude, thatīs just sad! The call center that you called seem to be in total denial! Here in Sweden the call center told me that a new firmware is on the way for W800i (and i suppose for the K750) and that the new firmware adresses the file transfer issue. But i donīt know if that is bollocks. I believe that they have basicly the same policy to not admit any faults in the firmware (except maybe the file transfer issue)
I have written to them over a week ago when i got my phone back from "repair" with the same issues and crappy firmware. I told them that they obviously canīt fix my phone and i want my old firmware back or a new phone with the old firmware. They havenīt replied yet! So tommorow i will send a mail to a CEO and hope that he gets it- that is get my mail and GET that a lot of people have problems with their SE phones! It is time that SE recognize ALL of the issues and give us some REAL info!

Dont worry, they always deny any knowledge of such bugs, and always say theres no updates planned.
Yet they always do.

Hi,
My K750i is on O2 and the f/w details are:
R1N035
prgCXC125952_EU_1_CL RN1N035
LCD SW versions
Main display
Current: 0
Camera SW versions
Camera
Current: 4.5
ITP SW version
CXC 125 932 R1A038
Customization
CDA102338/16 R17A
cxc125953 R1N035
EUROPE_2
Content version
PA19
I'm having problems maintaing a BT connection with my car kits (HCB-30 and HCB-700), but other people have reported no problems on the R1N035 revision.
Can this be explained by the fact that these people are using different poviders (Orange is one). I note that the head of this thread mentions different f/w revisions by provider.
Cheers,
Dave J

You'd think SE would try getting something out by the end of the year. Not a good advert for anyone buying a K750 at Christmas only to find its shipped with R1N035 and there are bugs/problems with it.

to those who recently purchased a K750, does the housing still creak, like when you press the 'C' key? or have they improved the build quality already? it used to drive me crazy!

Its not as simple as a general "improving build quality" - it depends on the individual factoryline that produced your particularly phone. I have one of the first K750 ever build, and it has never creaked at all. I also have a W800 thats just a month old, it creaks like hell.

Keep the current firmware for now, and wait for a new release to fix the issues that some experience with the latest firmware before upgrading. R1L002 isnt that bad a firmware.
