this is how K850 indoor suppose to look like. great details, great lightness, etc............

self timer like i said, there's nothing i could have done to ruin the pictures.
And yes someone turned of the lights, didnt see.. but the 1st picture says enough.

im comparing my brother's p&s nikon coolpix 4100 with my k850i....
nikon is 4mp SE k850i is 5mp

There are more differences that makes the Nikon superior to the K850i, in 999 out of 1000 shots. Even a 3 MP P&S camera will beat the K850i easily.
The main difference between the K850i and any P&S camera is the lens. All camera phones have tiny lenses due to space constraints. Small lens = less light = more noise. If the K850i were equipped with a bigger lens and/or a more sensitive sensor (i.e. CCD), it would be a formidable competitor to P&S cameras, which of course could hurt Sony's digicam sales...
