It'd be very nice if SE adds the "FM recording" option in the coming firmware.

any SE phone with this functionality???

You can record FM with TrackID™.

That only records 5 seconds and it uses it to send it for the song info. He's talking about recording an entire song from FM, a common functionality of most MP3 players built in FM tuners.

After nearly 2 months of trouble free use. My K850 has now started playing up.
Most notably the following:

* Shutter wont open (have to restart the phone to get it to work)
* Camera is useless. Macro mode never focus's properly leaving a blurred picture everytime.
* Some pictures wont display in the media viewer even when taken by the phone itself. Just get a black screen.
* Internet will hardly connect at all using GPRS and 3G.

Hopefully this supposed new firmware will sort these problems out as well.

Prefer to use my S500 now.

Weird - just seen 'H' for the first time in the display - am near Euston in London (normally in Edinburgh) on T-Mobile UK, 038 s/w.

Not particularly impressed with speeds though! - 282kbps d/l, 308kbps u/l!

They certainly do vary from connection to connection though - found it wasn't working any more so disconnected & reconnected...

Still not stunning but a bit more reasonable. Nowhere near the advertised 1.8Mbps mind (in fact I've never got above 500kbps - has anyone else managed this with the K850i on T-Mobile UK??)

Guys, the response is an automatic one chosen by a SE representative from a bank of pre-made responses. Nothing to get hyped out about.

Believe me I did my WE there ... was quite fun....the staff I mean

Anyway all I wanted to say is that we should just move on with our lives, not get accustomed to this unpredictable FW .... Not trying to sound like a sage or anything..... But that is what I did, when the R1CA037 FW came out I updated, forgot about the FW and k850, then out of curiosity came onto these forums to find out that R1DA038 is out.

Hope I helped people detach themselves from these forums - If not - I challenge you "lot" to a game of Halo 3!

PS. Currently ranked 1158 on the World leaderboard!

who says i (and others) are not going on with our lives? thats not even the point. The point is i paid for a high-end phone and i expect SE to fix the bugs within an acceptable time period. Heck, there shouldnt even be so many major bugs in the first place on such a high end phone.

They ARE using a new platform on this phone... so expect a few bugs. The only major one affecting me is the battery life compared to previous firmwares but I can still live with the phone. And you can too.
