Thanx for the info, Wireless. Btw, could somebody plz shed light on the following- i did 5 gprs speed tests at http://wap.portel.it/speed.asp RESULTS: Cache Uncleared avg.speed 8.29 kb/s. Cache Cleared- 100.92kb/s. Fastest-106.16kb/s and slowest-8.29kb/s. I didn't think a 3510i on MTN could achieve those speeds!! This message was posted from a Nokia

Plz note that those are kilobits per second, and not kilobytes, as somebody enquired via pm ;o) To calculate the kilobyte reading, multiply by 8. This message was posted from a Nokia

Da Wanqsta's back in London-town,y'all!
Had my fill of 'kyk-daar' moments in SA over the past 5 weeks to last a while.
One of the websites I regularly visit is Expansys.(Sometimes spelt Expensive...) However, they do occasionally have the odd bargain or two. I saw quite an interesting smartphone on the site this morning, going for a price that made me give this phone the 'twice-over.'
It's called the E-TEN P300B:
1. Windows Mobile 2003 (I'm not gonna start comparing this with other types,I think it has been done enough times on esato already.)
2.Samsung 2410 200mhz processor,
3.Pre-installed Windows programmes, including Pocket Word, Pocket Excel,Outlook, etc.
3.big 240x320 screen,Bluetooth,SD slot, etc.(but no camera.)
4.Windows Media Player v.9
Expansys also carries spares eg.stylii, batteries etc. and accesories for it.
The price? £177.95 sim-free. Not bad for a such a smartphone costing roughly R2100 'cash'...,IMO.
Here's the link:

@ Kryptik, Expansys have dropped the price of the P910i again;it now costs £334.95 sim-free.(approx R3950.) Will keep you posted if I find it cheaper over the coming months, particularly if you know someone visiting the Land of the St.George's Cross in the forseeable future, that could possibly take one back for you.

@ brix, good luck with your new job at City Press!

@ 786KBR, I still haven't uploaded any photos yet,but I haven't forgotten...

@Amawanqa, many thanx, bro. So, back in the land of bangers and mash... The smartphone market really seems to be taking off nicely. Saw a visitor from the Land of the Rising Sun sporting an iMate Jam, a p910i AND a Treo... Talk about being prepared to face the Dark Continent!!! This message was posted from a Nokia

@Brix, any luck with the HiDtv? Maybe you should think of sending an email off towards the North Pole. Who knows, Santa may be in a technological mood at the very moment your mail arrives... This message was posted from a Nokia

@Kryptik: I might just jump on the bandwagon and buy a PSP this weekend. On a serious note High Definition TV will be cool- just imagine looking out at clear window to the world...that's what HDTV should be like. This message was posted from a K700i
