Except for carries who doesn't want any mod on the phone (don't know why) all phones can have their bootloader unlocked. I don't think devs would buy carrier phones anyway.

An Xperia GX with metal back will be nice, hope it will have microSD slot/replaceable battery like Xperia GX also... it will be bad if not...

Yeah I know that, but perhaps this is where the so-called "faith" of a fan comes in. besides for the past 10 years Sony/SE only had one (subjectively) "ugly" flagship product if my memory served me right: and that's K850, although some people still find the phone beautiful.

Like me. I really like K850, a friend of mine had it back then I really enjoyed holding it in my hands and playing with it.
On the other hand, I find the current Sony phones really ugly and boring and would never buy one for myself. But I love my Xperia Pro.

I think the most ugliest se phone was the the jalou d and g and followed by the w350, the most sexiest had to be the s700 it was gorgeous and my old man used it up to last month. It's still going strong! lol

LOL.....got me thinking how much the UI has changed and improved since SE's first attempt with Android 1.6 Donut.....with X10
. Although i miss mediascape and its music player. It was nice. Also the arc shaped lock screen....still the coolest if it was available...just wish if it was faster than we would have a unique unlocking move rather than an iOS type one.....
