Has anyone had any problems with USB Charging the k800i, I have had two k800i's now (first one returned due to something underneath the screen) and both of them have not charged from the USB cable connected to my desktop computer, where as my k750i charges just fine. In fact when I plug the k800i into the desktop to charge it actually de-charges the battery. I still get the option to put the phone into transfer mode or phone mode, but it will not charge. If I turn the phone off and then connect the USB cable then turn the phone on, the charging icon will appear but no charging will happen, in fact it will drain the battery, and when you disconnect the USB cable the charging icon is still there.

Did you see if it was enabled in the service menu? Can be turned on/off in there.

Indeed - I agree - I get to 85% charge as an absolute maximum.

It might be because you are using Bluetooth 1.0 or 1.1. If I am correct, you need to be using BT 2.0 or greater to charge.

I don't see why bluetooth would affect USB charging, can you elaborate a bit? cheers.

Maybe the BT is draining the battery while the USB is charging it? ..LoL..

Personally i have never charged my phone on the usb for an extended period of time, i generally just use the charger... but maybe the problem is cause the USB doesn't have enough juice to fully charge the phone?

BT 1.0 nor, 1.1 can charge. I think. I do not remember the spec, however BT 2.0 does charge.

I am not using bluetooth, nor do I have it switched on (phone or PC). I am using the USB Cable that comes with the phone directly attached to my desktop at work and have also tried it on two different laptops. All of these computers charge my k750i without any problems, but not the k800i.
