Are your sms being stored on the phone or sim?

Initially mine were being stored on the sim, but after a fresh update due to some upgrades to the BB server at work, its all stored on the phone now?!

Same here, initially on the SIM but now on the phone. That wasn't the problem though as I only had 2 SMS in my inbox and none in my drafts, sent or outbox folders! It was just a bug, rebooting the phone solved it.

Two bugs I found today:
1. When listening to the radio through speaker and a call arrives, the phone is not ringing with the selected ringtone but with a beep beep...
2. I was playing K-RALLY and I received a call. Answered the call (although the screen messed up a little) and after hang-up of the call I couldn't return to the game (either automatically or through task manager).

@zisis

1. is not a bug
2. seems to be a problem, either with the phone or the app (game), as you should be able to resume open apps when your call is finished. But your game has obviously crashed.
Try the same scenario with another app/game..

I found a bug today (or just some bad UI design).
When I received an sms with a phone number in it and I tried to add the number to an existing contact, I was not able to do it.

There is an add to contact option, but when I clicked on it, it automatically added the number to new contact.

In other scenario, if I tried to add a number from a call log or by entering the number in the standby mode, there is an option after "add to contact" that will allow me to add it to an existing contact.

From the previous sony phones that I used (non smartphone though), I was able to add a number in an sms to an existing contact.

Anyone experience the same thing? or maybe know the solution?

In P990 this option exists on both, call log + sms.

Yeah, I am only able to add the sender of the sms to the existing contact, but not the number contain in the sms...this sucks..more and more bugs are in the P1i. First the sms timestamps and now the contact adding. Two really simple features, didnt expect Sony to mess up this bad on these kind of stuff.

@mookkoo

I thought that u meant the sender's number.

But no, adding a number from the message body to an existing contact isn't possible on the P990 either. It goes straight to the details of a fresh (blank) contact. Anyway, copy/paste is not a big deal, just a bit less convenient..
