Successful upgrade and can honestly say things load up quicker - not earth-shatteringly-so but better than before.
Still - SE has still got a lot to answer for with the P990 - I'll be thinking carefully about my next upgrade

Mine was less than 20 MB and that was cuz I've been updating the program without installing the last version - the one before R6E.

Hey, as I was informed on my-symbian: internet connection is needed to load SEUS and all the upgrade files. Upgrading process is not over internet, it's just PC - Mobile connection.

well, have to say, after R6D23, got so annoyed with my p990i, i sold it (and wish i hadnt now lol, went with the bluetooth gps reciever, in car holder & 2gig of memory cards) and went for a blackberry, really disappointed in that too tho lol,
no 3g, web browser's mega slow without installing & using opera mini instead, the built in gps is useless!! missed so many turn-off's with that its untrue!

so that got sold on ebay lastnight, and bought another p990i last firmware update or not, updating it to R6E28, after reading thru this thread,
although not perfect, n never likely to be, still probably the best handset overall i've owned, for the camera quality etc, and tomtom nav. 6 etc,

as i understand, the space bar problem has been fixed, and the alarm volume bug?
just curious, (tho i'll find out soon enough lol) in R6D23, the alt+shift to bring the drop-down menu's stopped working too, has this been fixed?
just made life easier than having to use the touch-screen sometimes.

It seems the bug regarding attachement in mail client did not disappeared
I attach files but I don't see them, though the e-mail contain the files and the receiver can see them. Don't tell me I'm the only one who has this bug
