...and that, my friend, I think you can!

When replacing the original fonts (Sans Serif....ttf) you might be able to choose a font type with smaller characters.

I think there's a dedicated thread somewhere in this forum...
If I'm not mistaking, this one might help you on the way;

Personally I found this "howto" very useful (thanks to all helpful members on ESATO! =) ;

@exokello
I had this exact problem, the way I solved it was to completely uninstall the pcsuite, including removing any relavant folders under 'program files', and then downloading/installing the latest version from SE's website.

It seems there mustbe a compatibility issue between the new firmware & older versions of the pcsuite.

So aren't we saying the same thing - that the issues don't arise if all your contacts are in the phone memory and the sim is blank?

Almost. ..I tested and checked a bit when I got the phone to find out if the problem was duplicated entries between the sim and the phone. But I couldn't find any problems with just having the contacts on the sim - so I think the problem only shows up when you've used contacts from both the sim and the phone in a program. Such as if you called up someone using the sim- contact entry and not the phone one.. Or maybe had the sim- contact in the phone- log, and then added a phone- entry later, etc. So maybe the call- app can't handle the different types of entries or something of that sort. *shrug* But it's not easy to see - apparently it doesn't happen very often.

I suppose you could be right - that the copy from sim was a workaround of some sort. ..But I'm sure they didn't give it that much thought.

I had start up issues with the latest P1 firware and Blackberry Connect v4.82. I had transitions on and each time I tried to access the info or service tabs and the advanced page in BB Connect i got a crash and a dump of memory - error 3.

I have turned of tranisitons and low and behold the error no longer happens. Great - I could repeat the problem many times over and it always crashed.

What is the advanced lock code?? Do you have to get this right to get access to a new set of tabs in 4.82??

Strange - no problems here with accessing the service or advanced page in BB connect while transitions set to on. The advanced lock code had been in all blackberry versions so far - but I don't know what kind of settings it hides.

I'm on Singapore Latin and recently updated to R6G04.
Blackberry 4.82 works fine BUT I'm still unable to browser our company INTRANET using the Blackberry Web browser.

I upgraded to this version hoping that the combination of the new organizer version and BBC version would restore my Intranet browsing which I lost when I upgraded from BBC 4.33 to BBC 4.79 (on R6F41).

An upgrade is supposed to be an improvement, right?
Or am I missing something in my configs?

Please enlighten me.
Thanks.

Hi. I just attempted to update using the SEUS yesterday. When I'm just to connect it with the PC and do the whole process, it says that I have the latest firmware/software. When asked me to continue anyway, I agreed and the phone was "updated". When I checked the status, it was still the CXC162037 R9J005 version. Why is it? I checked the CDA list for Sony Ericsson P1i website and found out that the phone region language is Hongkong. Does it affects the update process? What wrong? Why i can't update to the latest firmware which is CXC162143 R9K009?

You have to wait for the FW update to your region. Otherwise I think you can get it changed to a different region.

...and it's plenty of helpful tips in this forum on how to do exactly that.
(See previous posts, for instance AD's post on page 10 in this thread; http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=164362&start=135 )
