You cannot see any keypad light in direct sunlight mate
Yes,it's true but you don't need keypad light in sunlight
As for the keypad backlight it's not the brightest but in the dark it's perfectly usable & can be seen fine. Only thing I do not like is the keypad light goes off too quickly when no keys are pressed. If you think the camera is poor then go see my pics they are ok not the best out there but still very good for most. Overall the handset is great to use, fast solid & so far reliable. I recommend it over the Mini anyday
And when Phone Arena say the web browsing is not so good on small screen. What bull shit. I have big hands & I was able to use the older smaller Mini's ok. And the 3 inches on this device is fine I have no issues viewing anything. Just typical reviewers moaning that the screen is not 5 inches
I mean duh come on it's not called a Mini phone for nothing

Once you get used to the keyboard, you won't need to see it.
I haven't seen a Mini Pro in the market section. Anybody willing to sell theirs?

@Bonovox, isn't the keypad backlight tied to the light sensor like on the older X10 Mini Pro?

I think so not sure will have to look again. But I have to say using the new Mini Pro compared to the old one its worth the upgrade for sure.
