About this whole snapdragon DSP vs Wolfson DSP, I know that at time when qualcomm was putting single core scorpion CPU's Samsung was already using Wolfson's DSP's and it was noticeably better. But now, that Qualcomm is leading the mobile market with their s800/s801 SoC's is there any proof that Wolfson is still better DSP than what is used on s800/s801?
I couldn't find any proof that s800 DSP is inferior to dedicated Wolfson DSP, only comments that the best was galaxy S3 running exynos SoC and using Wolfson but that is 2 year old phone we're talking about.
Isn't it just that some people are sticking to the 'Wolfson is better' phrase like it's some kind of divine truth? I don't remember seeing any review saying bad things about DSP's used by recent Qualcomms SoC's. Maybe Samsung is using Wolfson DSP's on their exynos SoC's cause they don't have anything of their own they could use that would give satisfactory results?
Sorry for this slight OT but I'm curious, why after 2 years we're still getting back to this whole Wolfson vs. rest of the world thing.

Congratulations to all who got their Galaxy S5. After reading quite a few reviews, im sure i'll be getting one now my upgrade is due in less than a months time.
The HTC One open brackets M8 close brackets is a complete no-go, its camera is a joke and the fact the phone has grown a centimetre to include it whilst losing features render it a completely pointless phone and probably HTC's dell knell. How can a company literally p*ss money down the drain each year and stay in business.
And as for Sony, the morons already mentioned on this site put me off supporting a company that attract such people to their brand not to mention the faults within the product once again. Sony Z phones appear to attract morons to it like Burberry attracts football hooligans and similarily chavvy morons. I'll stick to my Sony TV and PS3/4, not the phones.

Excellent result for GS5 in that camera comparison, especially when you consider it's their 1st attempt at a mobile sensor since going Android, I give them a few more years of this and they'll be making sensors for themselves and other phone makers.

the fact that he made the effort to come and mention my name is quite sad, signs of a very lonely and frustrated individual. I would say leave him to embarrass himself but then again its due to posters like that so many great people left this forum, so hopefully Hans, Laffen or tranced will take care of him.

I must emphasise I might get one, but then I might not. I don't think theres much choice as the other phones out aren't up to par. The S5 didn't impress at first, but reading more on the features rather than specs you do appear to get more for your money.
HTC have completely disappointed me this year. I'd like to see what LG have up their sleaves. Also, I might wait a couple of months to see if an updated S5 comes out with a higher res screen, or an updated Lumia 1020.
As for Mr Hello, he doesn't bother me in the slightest, but it does bother me that the powers that be on the forum don't ban these people or even moderate their offensive posts. I've moderated forums before on a similar website to Esato, now dead and gone, but we would never stand for such vile talk on it. We would delete the offensive posts, mute the account from being able to post and then let the admin deal with the account.

I think the power of esato is the ability to go off-topic sometimes. I do agree that some people could choose different words to express their feelings.
I'm working on a nicer Esato, but it takes time.
