> T68i - R8A015 Released
Bookmark topic
Check this out:
January 2003 - I bought my T68 from Amazon.com, without the SIM card.
March 2003 - Sent it to virtualdynamix for unlocking. Then sent it to SE to upgrade firmware (The upgrade was free of charge).
March 2004 - Back in Brazil, SonyEricsson PHONED (not mailed!) me about getting a FREE software upgrade here in my city (São José dos Campos, SP).
The only bad thing is that the brazilian version (North-american) does not contain new menus or games. Just speed improvement.
But hey, it's a damn cool company, isn't it?

Hi,
For guys who do it themself...
Are you interesting in R8B006 for T68i ?
US1 (US, French, Spanish)
tested OK (by me), don't know yet what's new, only one day used...
maybe better RF, BT OK, battery time OK
Take a look at cellular-support after registering.

Hi Simsphil,
I'm also interested in the french language,
Where did u get the software from?
How did u connect your phone, BT or else?
Well, How did u do that?
And what about the SMS glitch when you put some accent éèô etc..? in the R2 firmware it will reduce the number available for an SMS...

hi Discub,
sorry...
You can't do it with a simple cable or BT or else... as you thought.
You need a dongle, a special software, and some experience to do it.
However, I can suggest you to take a look at cellular-support where you'll find guides to flash SE phones, or do a search here and try to learn how to do if you are really interested.
cheers
