Hmm so i assume i can send all my contacts to outlook from the phone and then back again to clear that up for now then? If so i'll give it a go later.
Just noticed the "insert symbol bug" aswell and its the same for txt messaging! Slightly annoying. On furthur inspection it turns out its the theme im using! I just switched to a pre-installed theme and its fine but i like my other theme
Does anyone know how often SE release updates?
Anyone else having bluetooth issues?
ALSO! If ur reading this Mr Sony Ericsson can u speed up the seek time for videos? coz it takes ages trying to fast foward through a film to get back to where you were b4 u got interupted! Also keeping full screen activated when it moves onto the next video would be nice
Thats enough moaning for now... i'm sure i'll be back soon though

my phone still doesn't like 1 gb memory it works fine with the 64 mb but when I try 1 gb it works and then after a while it gives me garbage text and I have to restart the phone (if it doesn't freeze first)
btw I tried formatting my memory stick to fat32 and it works in the phone so I can safley assume the phone will be able to handle more than 2 gb memory sticks (it might slow down though but it can still read them) for those of you who don't know the phone formats the sticks to fat 16 which works on anything equal or less than 2 gb.

Yeah I've done that too and it's fixed
Still, there's the problem of the "Add symbol", but apparently it's not with all the themes...

I formatted my 64mb stick as fat32 and it appeared to work fine until i tried to watch a film from it. It didnt like it at all and was all stuttery and jittery. So i used to the phone to format the card and films play fine again!
Thought it was worth mentioning... could it just be me with this problem? :/

Bluetooth... i thought it was fixed but its back again!
When i connect my HBH-600 to the phone which sometimes takes a couple of attempts... but when it does, alot of the time the white backlight that comes up with the time doesnt go off, ever! Its just constantly lit white with the time displaying until i disconnect the headset (which sometimes results in the phone hanging!). I assume this is a bug because it has to significantly reduce battery life and it doesnt do it consistantly.
Quite a big problem for me as battery life is very important to me and with the lights constantly on and bluetooth running my battery doest stand a chance!
Do all the problems listed on this site get reported to Sony Ericsson?

it seems like the "cursors" in this new firmware all are gone, unlike in R1A044...
like in the alarm menu, you dont know which number you're on, and on the insert symbol... strange.

In the alarm the digit I am on is flashing and in the add symbols the character I am position on is highlighted by a background block so this all seems fine to me.
btw, I've tested these with all 4 built in themes

With built-in themes everthing is fine but with other themes, you don't have any highlight when you are in a "Add Symbol" menu...
However I have no problems with the alarm...
