im also looking at the N82..im almost starting to use my k750 and thats a big thing because its joystick is broken. My k850 just rebooted when making a picture while listening to music.
Once again it was a .wma file but still... i literally rebooted the phone 7x today (i counted it). 1st time was because i couldnt change the volume.. another time it rebooted automatically, 4x i had to reboot because someone called me while listening to music, and another time because i couldnt change the volume again.

Do you use it as your "main" music player? what headset are you using with it?

Yes.
I use the sennheiser pmx-100 and sometimes the default headset.
(i will be using the pmx-100 all the time when i receive my hpm-70 microphone adapter-thingy!)

I found the volume to be too low when using the default headset, did you modify your k850 using this XS++ thingie to increase the volume?

yes, with pmx-100 its too low as well, maybe even worse.
No i havent, afaik we cant access the k850s filesystem yet.
Another thing; i cannot connect to seus anymore (usb device not recognized)

K850 = Crap

maybe SE will replace it with it's successor, not new firm. Then we will exchange them for free as it was their fault (the successor will be perfect)and ........ .........then we will wake up.

Before any K850 successor we are surely going to have a second revision of this model (a la K800 > K810) so hopefully SE bring out the second revision quicker and make the K850 disappear as quick as possible.

If anything I hope the second revision does away with the rubbish battery cover on the bottom and bring back a normal back battery cover, although thats one of many gripes!

Can't believe that a i spent my little economies to that phone, and SE is doing nothing to fix the bugs,or release a proper firm for 3 month now...
They promise to january, than to week 6, but nothing happenes. This is really exasperating.

Call customer service and tell them that we are disappointed. It is the only way or even better, buy another brand!

What the hell is wrong with the battery cover, its easy to use and works a treat, you can even access the SIM card without taking the battery out. The cover on my k750i needs a flat head screw driver to open, now that is rubbish...

..and i felt k850 was the successor but it was a s**t,..
.. i may sell my k850 in low price and get nokia 6500 slide.

..and if the next firmware for the K850i is like the one you mention for the K800i, then surely that would be the successor your after?

..then you'll probably moan in the same way about the next phone lol..

Sitting here and have some fun when I read everyhopas problemas. So I looked around on other forums about Nokia. He! Shit! And you guys think you have problems. Nokias flagship N 95. That is trouble . So be happy with your SE K850i
