I am using nop and its c r a p,doesnt allow downloads greater than 1mb and doesnt support java messengers and all! So wat is workin now in mumbai? Is live workin? The google trick works only for surfin

This is what I think might be the reason for no forbidden msg. Now that gtel has offered to provide google search integrated with gtel live, it is now made to work like NOP with a google filter. U will notice that even when no sites would open, google.co.in always works and it is fast. So I think this is what gtel is now experimenting on.

To be more specific i'll add this too. . @irtel dumbos thought that separating @irtellive network from the mobile office network which has the DNS access would be a mammoth of a task. . . Which involves shutting down all their servers and gateway access points. . . . Moreover they settled down to stick the DNS access together with @irtel live which would indeed help them in launching new services needing dns access (like for eg:yahoo mail) through their airtel live portal. . . . !! Whilst giving us a hard time surfing through their damned google filter. . . .Gotta admit that they have atleast something inside their head. . . ! Now in that case we will have to find a way to by pass the google filter

Guys from yesterday the speed of live has been great. I downloaded almost 100 mb of data. Dont know till how many days this will work. Can anybody from karnataka tell is there any monthly plan for airtel online because the 5 Rs per day plan is not so convenient for me.
