homebrew (afaik) is (illegal i think) games you download, put on your memory card, and play on your psp. It only works on firmware versions 1.5 and under.

anyway, someone told me that sony say theyre gonna release an 'official homebrew' where you can download ps1 games onto your memory stick (for a price). I heard somewhere you can downgrade, bit i dont personally know myself.

I haven't played any of the games but gamespot.com gives great reveiws for all platforms so check tht out and thnx glenny, I've heard tht u can downgrade but most have been hit and miss cuz people r sayin their whole system was screwed up so i dunno maybe hopfully sony will release mortal kombat 1, man do i love tht game!
