Yes it would, but imo the market that this phone is aimed at would be more style conscious than worried about the camera, and would simply see 5mp on the phone and be happy with the camera without knowing its full capabilities.

Indeed it does. The number 9 is as high as they go, and we've been told that C stands for Cybershot... Could be a very good camera!
Also, anyone notice the likeness with this new naming to the Japanese phones??? *is hopeful*

EDIT: Well I meant that it sounds like SE Japan phones like the SO905i. Not the i-Mobile 902.
