There must be another trigger because it works fine for me now even if I play music while taking pics... I never use the zoom while taking pics only after to review the details so maybe that's what it is because I have had the volume bar (and volume control) disappear on mine and I'm with 037.
But here's another bug you can try - it's documented here: Go to media and start playing a song, go to options and change the equalizer to manual, now go to another artist and play - see if the equalizer is still on the setting you left it. Better yet - just stop the song and exit the media player and then resume it - mine goes back to the default liiil setting.

How do you find the N82?
Compared to the K850, the N82 has a dimmer screen, it's uglier and bulkier, its battery lasts 50% less than the K850, and its plastics are cheap-feeling. Other than that, it is better than the K850 in every other respect, needless to mention the inclusion of Wi-Fi and GPS. As for the camera+flash...it is so clearly superior that I find it pointless to even discuss the subject. I also have to mention that I do not weigh the presence of the Symbian platform since I don't really have much use for it, and the installation of "freebies" has become more and more troublesome!

EQ settings on 037 are never remembered.
but volume bar prob occurs only a few times after zooming pic (reboot required). but Not each time. sometimes after using camrea and zooming pic in cam and play-mode doesn't affect the vol. in media player. I know this issue from the start but hope it will be fixed. Only 1 annoying thing to me is that if i update all modules of "PhotoMate" application then it will give me the error "Application uses too much memory". So after loading application i had to uninstall one of the modules very quickly before it showed me the error. Now its working flawlessly.

i reckon the N82's plastics are higher quality than the ones on the K850. it also seems to be more scratch and fingerprint resistant.
and im loving the freebies too. the last week or so ive spent watching divx files, and chatting on msn, and playing emulated genesis games on my tv

Let's just agree that the plastics on both phones are NOT top quality! Plus the installation of freebies requires procedures like "signing", searching for the proper date for expired certificates, etc!
