The new K790i firmware has one more improvement not listed here... i.e. When in Camera mode, while choosing the Scene through the top-right button (next to the speaker), you can navigate through the scenes with the joystick. Earlier firmware would not allow you to do this.

Steps.
------------
1. Turn the camera on, by moving the slider at the back.
2. Now press the Scene selector button once (top right, next to the speaker)
3. Move the joystick left or right (when holding phone horizontally) or top and bottom (when holding phone upright) to select the scene.

Other finding on R1GB001:
Actually I'm not sure whether this is new or not, I just found it today..please other confirm. It may be there in the previous firmwares, I just don't recall it.
Go to Camera. Instead of pressing camera button on the side of the phone, you CAN press the joystick. In Autofocus, just hold the center of the joystick and the phone does the rest. No need to half-press the joystick, which is indeed impossible...in Infinity just press the joystick and it captures the image automatically, so does in Macro. It sounds silly though, I just don't remember at all..lol. Anyway, by using the joystick the shot taken is more steady I think..
The same thing is also in Video mode. And yes, you can select Scenes in Camera mode by moving the joystick as what the previous poster said. Correct me if I'm wrong..

I can't honestly believe O2 is taking this long over releasing the new firmware! It's rediculous!
