I certainly hope so!
Otherwise I will, once again, be sooooo disapointed by SE delays.

The only feature phones i know can Multitask are the SE A100 and A200 phones incl. K800, K810, K770, W850, W580, W910, K850, C902 etc. . . .
The A200 and A100 are not really feature phones. You cant install native applications on them

Delays? They always said it would be available in the 2nd half of 2008... They got until the 31st of december until we can call it a delay

Hi all,
But as the Touch Pro is now launched every day longer it takes the more SE risk losing sales to the Touch Pro especially as it is only £519.99 so is cheaper. I wonder how long before we see the Network versions of it, anyone have any confirmation of any of the Networks having the X1 even as coming soon? I know Voda UK have the Touch Pro as coming soon so doubt they will also have the X1 as well but i suppose anything may be possible.
I'm quite eager to see the X1 released and see what it actually delivers especially it's unique features.
Marc

Imho the phone doens't have anything unique, besides the screen. Touch Pro with otherwise same/partially better technic is out now.. so if the screensize is not the most important thing, there is no reason to go for X1.

What about compatibility with other SE charger, headset etc? One of the reasons I am STILL buying SE phones (knowing that SE is bugware expert) is compatibility with my existing accessories.

... which the X1 does
not have as it lacks the Fastport connector.

October (30th ?) has already been established as the release of the unlocked X1i (check a page or two back). That pic of the Sep 24th release was posted several dozen pages ago by Mohammad Oli. So a month later than the September release, I guess, isn't too bad
At this point, I don't think any X1 fan is going to give up waiting for the X1 except for the extremely impatient. It is due to be released as an AT&T exclusive (in the U.S.) in January for $499. AT&T has ordered 40000 X1's. BengalBoy also has the newest ROM, so he will be posting details soon.
It's going to be interesting to see what SE has finally come up with for the X1. We all know about the hardware and panels, but, what about the final software lineup ?...the user experience ?...it's called
Xperia after all. Hopefully, SE has made this thing worth the wait.
