If they decide to remove the jack to sell more wireless stuff I understand.
Even if it does not mean costumers will buy it from Sony.
But design is a cheap excuse.
Previous phones were thinner.
With the jack..
The duo has positive stuff. All tech sites say they are very good to hold. Better than any other X.
They are excited about the HDR recording and playback. Even if the phone cant play 4K hdr recorded on it.
At least for indoor situations, all pics I have seen so far are better than note8 and iX. Words from ppl who took the shots, not me.
But the position of FPS is being pointed as biggest flaw.
It seemes really easy to touch camera.
Selfie is the same used inside Z3+, 3 years ago.
And it does not work well after 5 pm.
I dare to see selfies of XZ2 outperform XZP or XA2U.
With f2.2 instead of previous f2.0 will increase even more ISO.
I have seen ppl that say they are buying xz2, other say they better get XZ1.
This reminds me the whole X Perf without 4K video and true dual sim.
XZ2 is £700. XZ Premium was 645.
Are they planning to tag XZ2P same price of iX?

Agreed! But, keep in mind that XZ2's frame is 6 mm thick. So, you can't say that previous phone were thinner because 11.1 mm of the phone is only at the phone's middle part.

I am sorry Moe, but I think you are crying much.. The phones are good and the decision to remove the jack was okay at least.. All the manufacturers will go in that direction.. Sooner or later sony had to do it.. As for the thickness, it isn't uniformly 11,5 mm thick... It's the max thickness, the curvature.. The frame's only 6 mm thick.. So compromises had to be made..Let's just hope that the next phone satisfies all of you..

I would not be surprised if they put it back on Premium, then ppl have to pay more instead of buying XZ2.
Apple does that with storage size..
I bet XZ3 will be exactly like Premium, just a smaller FHD version.
