Just got home and decided to browse the forum on my phone. I caught the little trivial sms thingy remark. I was using "please call me" as an example as to how vodacom can overlook the smaller details that make the whole cellular experience that bit easier. I wasn't bugging on that one little thing. On the 3g front, i'm upgrading late next year and can't wait to see the improvements in that field while i'm waiting. Would love to watch free bbc especially. I'll watch on eagerly.

That tv licence thing is nonsense unless the broadcast laws get changed to include streaming tv.
Seems like we're going round in circles because this issue was discussed back in March...search for "loophole" and "SABC".

@tempsonyfreak: Still can't find those ads...the funniest ones are the cinema ads for Cell C urging people to put their phones on silent.

Guys, the Symbian and SE-backed Smartphone Show is in the east of London on 11-12 October at London's Excel exhibition centre.
http://www.thesmartphoneshow.com/?src=ZDNet
Some of you might have seen this mentioned on esato already.
The Excel centre is literally 5 minutes by car from Amawanqa's Abode, and about 10-15 minutes using the Docklands Light Railway...
get yer botsie-wotsies here if you can and you won't have to worry about accommodation.
@ Kryptik, maybe you can organise a u/13 soccer team to come and play our Pommie school's team, on that weekend of course...

get that big People's Car manufacturer in Uitenhage to sponsor you guys!!!!!(or even Algorax,at a push, for all their atmospheric iniquities,it's surely the least they could do..?)
I'll get these Poms to host the team!
Wishful thinking,I know...
@ brix,
maybe you can convince your publishing emporium to let you do a detailed market report on this, and fly you to this Symbian & Smartphone symposium!
I'm sure Mario would feel quite at home amongst all the third party Symbian software stands filling up the exhibition halls...
