Just a note...the new Sony Clie NX series is P35K, as is the new iPaq, So why is it hard to believe the P800 is P39K?
BTW, for those of you who don't know, the P800 is running a 200mHz CPU.
And yes, you can buy a P4 at that price (actually a lot less)... but you can't lug your P4 around with you can you? For the same reason laptops cost more than their desktop counterparts, the small the device, the higher the price.
I personally think the P800 is worth it... now if Sony will just release higher capacity Duos!

Yup, the new Palm TTs are P28K + T68i (used) around P10K + MCA20 P5K or so = P43K...
Granted that most people don't really use the Communicam as much as SE thinks... I still think the P800 is worth it... we'll see if I still say that once I have the phone itself.
OT question: to those who have a PDA/mobile phone combo solution, do you bring your PDA with you all the time, and when you do, how do you carry it around? In your pocket, bag, belt holster or somewhere else?
