@ Siosal,
Wanqua?Sounds like some exotic(erotic?) island...
But me am-a-wanqa.
Almost all men in the world are followers of the Wanqing Way of Life! It's in the jeans..er..genes! LOL!;-)

BTW,average UK international sms is around 20p.
Only Mobileworld,CPW's virtual network(15p),Easymobile (15p) and O2's International Talk and Text bundle (10p) are cheaper.

I'm intruiged.

@amawanqa: Forgive my spelling. Your humour is crude, crass and evident of one who could truly be a limey.

I like.

Thanks for the info there. Gprs charges anyone?

@Siosal: Even though there is a lot of unhappiness SA's gprs rates are still amongst the lowest in the world. This message was posted from a K700i

@brix: I don't deny that.. but what are overseas users paying? Just to get a rough idea.

"Vodacom Delivers On Further Peak Time Pre-Paid Tariff Cuts

Call rate of R2,99 from 7am to 8pm, effective 5 September 2005"

I don't quite follow where this comes in as it sounds expensive. I remember pre paid being R2.55 during peak time.*correction...this is the per second rate*

thats about a 10% cut on the per second rates. . . still quite expensive. smartstep is still the best for peak calls then.

Agreed.

My cousin says overseas they have so many service providers, you can't judge the pricing scheme(as they are all so low), you choose what name you want to show on your phone.

Would love that here.
