even if they do, do you really consider 2 tiny marks so small that they can only be seen with magnifying glasses a problem ??
Oh my, if only my world were so perfect that something like this could agitate me.....
I have a great microscope at the lab at work, Ill better give the K750 a go under that, and Im sure I will be able to find more we can complain about.
Lets forget about hunger, famine, world war, floods, violence, epidemics etc. and start focusing on the real catastrophes of this world, how many 0.2 micromy assemblymarks can we find on our phones ??

LOL
What can i say... My world is a mess , so IF i had a nice phone i would be a little relived, but if its a faulty one like mine seems to be,i cant even have a damn phone without factory faults... nice! Took my last money buying a expensive phone to make me a little less sad, and end up with a `whatever you call itī right out the box.

Now you please check your phones real carefully, cuz the asholes at the shop wont let me swap my phone for another. Take a microscope ifs needed, use the glass, go out in the sunlight cuz one cant find anything in a dark room in front of the computer. The thing is that those blemmishes might crack up in time and go bigger and bigger, and i dont like that idea.

@dr. David - wouldn't in the scenario envisaged by you, the small defects leading to cracks in the metal body be covered by the warranty.?
So you cud then get ur phone replaced since it wud be manufacturing defect.... in the meanwhile i guess you cud write an email to sony or whoever complaining about the defect... so that you have a record for the future when the inevitable (?) happens

Thats called wear and tear from everyday use, are you sure that you don't have keys in your pocket while your carrying your phone?

No keys, no sharp things whatsoever.
I took it right out of the box, never used before, thats what i find strange (if its not ment to be there)
It cant be wear and tear if the metal frame should crack up in the future (2-3 yrs) i shouldnt happen at all mate

@dr.david
Yup i have a defect also like a tiny pin prick mark near the IR port on the top of the phone. I noticed this the day i recieved it but never thought much about it to be honest, no big deal doesnt affect the greatness of this phone.

I'm getting my new k750i in the new few days (hopefully tomorrow), I'll reply here if mine has the same marks (it shouldn't affect the phone anyway).

I just checked mine with a 10x jewellers eye glass under a strong light, and there are no marks on my phone. And to be honest, my eye sight is good enough to see a blotch of the size you circled on your phone anyway. It's not that tiny. If you could see it without a magnifying glass, then don't go telling us we aren't trying hard enough because we haven't used a magnifying glass, and that our phones MUST have the blotches just like yours.
Mine is freakin' perfect. Not a godamn blemish anywhere.
I guess you did get a dud, but I still don't see what you are worried about.
