well i've thought of making one so i wnet and bought an led. 5V green. but it wasn;t brigth enough. it was very dim and didn't actually project any lgiht in pitch darkness. how si teh one in the photo so bright?

what vold led is needed? and how do you solder the led in? arnt the conections too far down in the charger bit? and how do you turn the led on/off?

The flash-light and the IR-pointer from SE is out for sale in Sweden real soon. The webshop
www.jt.nu has put a price on them.
About $8 (79 SEK) for the flash light and $12 (120 SEK)for the IR pointer.
The bad thing is that they have not given a release date yet. =(
Is those for sale any other place in the world yet?
