this is what se have sent me Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Centre.
With regards to your enquiry, unfortunately the latest version of firmware - R1N035 - has yet to become available for O2 users. This should become available soon, or you can have it done via our service centre. We cannot assist in the removal of O2 branding. If you would like to have the update via a service centre, please find below the postal address for the main Sony Ericsson approved service location. We suggest you send your Sony Ericsson product via recorded delivery, for your peace of mind when it is in the post. We ask that you include your address, a fault description, and a copy of your proof of purchase with the IMEI number (if applicable) on it. We suggest that you retain the original proof of purchase, and that you note the IMEI number (if applicable) prior to sending.

When will the R1N035 be available for O2?
I still have R1L002, SEUS says my firmware is up to date and desperately need to upgrade to R1N..
Is there any other way apart from Davinci?

My tip. Don't use Davinci. The K750i (and all new phones from SE) have a rom space containing the original CDA and firmware details of the phone when it was manufactured. Davinci can't touch that. If you need your phone repaired and the rom details don't match a pre-defined route to the current firmware on the phone then SE will invalidate your warranty.
Anyway. The details I have is that O2 won't release R1N035. They are testing new firmware and that should be available in around 2 weeks time.

I guess I'll wait then...
I'll be glad if someone can drop me a PM when the new firmware is available on SEUS..
