I'm addicted! The witty exchanges, the info, the dog fights, the pictures, the free stuff, the garbage threads, the comradery...
It's all good

Other than getting to meet very interesting people from across the globe, i have got the opportunity to learn a lot here. Before joining esato, i must admit, i belonged to the group that thought that phones were only meant to make calls. It has definitely been a great learning experience.

There is a reason for everything.
We all have our ups' and downs'.
My reasons for not being amongst the most active members (or moderators) are personal, but believe me; I've been in here just about every single day.

@tranquil
then step down, there are plenty of other people out there that can be around more than you.

The reason is a sort of invisible group bonded relationship we develop among ourselves. The addiction starts, increases and stays under control at one stage.

I think that is what best sums it up for me too!
The people whose personalities shine through make it good for me, and Time Out in the garbage threads is as important as clueing up on the next release or resolving a problem on your handset.

yeah it's good here. A lot of forums aren't as social. The garbage threads add an important dimension.

But moderating isn't about quantity my friend, it is about
quality
Why am I on esato?? I dunno..... in a whirl of forums and sites that happens around me, I find esato a nice and stable point to fall back on
Downside is that my time here is so limited now that I usually have no idea what is going on, nor the time to figure it out
