nup i didnt have a phone or sim lock, mine originally just crashed like it sometimes does, then just progressivly got worse

im so happy i found this post because this happened to me a month ago and i thought i was the only one. I had my w800i for only a month till it happened
I handed the phone to o2 and has been exactly 1 month now since they had it and still havent had it back!
I was just off the phone to friend when i realised the network coverage was completely flat, so i switched it off (as this helps sometimes) and when i tried to switch it back on, it has a white light for 2 secs and then goes of! I have not flashed the phone and is at its original status

Good news guys, i finally found the solution. I got mine fixed with the help of the Davinci software. Download the backup GDFS of k750i from this link "www.davinciteam.com/K750gdfs.zip" (without the quotes ofcourse). Use the Davinci Software Version 14.0(Its the latest one). Then go to the Repair tab. Uncheck everything, except the WRITE GDFS tab. Then browse to the file(U have to unzip the file first, u will get .bin file) u downloaded from the Davinci site. Then hit the DO JOB button. It will take arnd 2 mins and hopefully your phone shud work after that. My phone started working after i did this. I had exactly the same problem like u guys had. You wud need 1 credit for this.
PS: Plz try it at ur own risk. I wont be liable, if something goes wrong. It worked fine for me. So i am assuming, it will work for u guys as well.

Just went to the o2 shop to complain about my phone as it had been away for 4 weeks now. They realised that it was repaired and was on its way back only 2 days after i had handed it. The problem was that it wasn't at the shop. So the man rang up the repairers and complained to them, apparently my phone got lost in the post! now they said that they would send me a brand new one (hopefully including the full kit, incuding another memory card
) and should be here in 4 days!
