US$869 = approx NZ$1250
When W800i was released here it sold for NZ$899 with pre release models selling for NZ$1000. Note: W800i released in NZ in October.
I think NZ$1250 is a reasonable price for those features, and available some 3-4 months before NZ release.
Not in my budget though unfortunately.
Otherwise, I'd have ordered days ago.

yeah man the phone will still work in the USA. There are some UMTS networks in the US with cingular. only in the major cities though and its very expensive. But you can still use GSM 900 (t-mobile) and gprs.
