yea i got my last i-mate from Expansys, but T-mobile have offered me a free upgrade so will need to get it from them if i want to get it for nothing!

Can somebody confirm if it (HTC Hermes/ I-mate JasJam) is Class 10 EDGE enabled...Debu mentioned it in the 1st post but can't find it mentioned in any of the links posted here or at Uncle Google.
As manish mentioned, 3G's nowhere in the horizon here in India but U never know (the competion amongst the operators is very strong & if even 1 of em mentions it by mistake, the others will go ahead & start it...testing has been going on for ages...may be finished already) So I don't want to get a phone which won't be future proof. At the same time can't do without EDGE till THAT future arrives here in India.
And the above (EDGE) will be the only reason between me & the
P990 WHEN it is launched...I m gonna be in Dubai for the next 2 months (JUNE JULY) & I'll definately be getting more than 1 phone. Honestly if this dosen't ve EDGE, I'd definately go for the P990 but if it has.....then.....may be both

Well i would of said that it may be out of stock, but for the MDA Vario and the Compact 2 not to be listed is kinda unusual, because i really doubt that any man will buy a pink compact 2 other than Fatrege

So maybe t-mobile are making room for the knew awaited MDA Vario 2.
