N80 for a old P-series ,yeah wise choise. I think the only 2 players in the 'smart phone' battle are Nokia and Microsoft. All the other 'proprietary' operating systems will be 'gone' in a few years :-( The 'new' P-series is already a bit outdated (old wifi, last year's micro-processor) before it has been released ! Even worse - SE will stop software support for the old OS because isn't compatible with the 'new' and that less then 3 years after its development ! On another note - have you tried to send a simple sms using the stylus while you drive ? The one hand operated S60 can do that without even taking it out of your poked ! (with a bit of practice thou) This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

to be fair, i have to admit, that p900 and p910 will be present on the market for sure in the next future, they are even a hit after years imo but i think se should decide, if they prefer in the coming p serie, what is more welcome at the users: stylus or keypad, as i see, no need for both in a fone or they gonna follow the way of nokia and release the new p with 2 different text input features.

Mario you should not drive and sms on your phone, this way you gonna kill an esato member one of these days. And for you information you can do one handed sms with the flip closed on the P9xx.

as the owner of a N70 and P910i I think the SE is a far better phone.

I agree the camera on the Nokia is better, but not that good. The rest of the phone is not as user friendly or as well laid out as the SE.

The operating system is painfully slow (orange branded) and the reception is not as good. Considering the P910 is over a year old and the N70 is a couple of months old I think that it is Nokia who are trying to keep up with SE.

I use the N70 as my second - "going out for a drink dont care if I loose you phone" and I have found that the battery life is not as good as the P910. Again the SE I have had for over a year!

Those of you who say SE are falling behind have got to be joking. How many of you own PS2's or Sony Tv's or are waiting for the PS3 instead of the Xbox360. Do you think the same company will let it's part of the SE partnership down?

I doubt it!

Doing that is madness mate and will lead to a crash.

Anyway, you can use flip closed mode for SMS just like you would on a normal phone. It has a T9 dictionary. Performs the same as every other phone.

It depends who's driving... I have a P900 and never use stylus when writing a sms even if I am sitting in a bus. Good thing there is Flip close
