knuckle dusters fall into the same category as flick knives, blow pipes, throwing stars and indeed knives with knuckle duster handles etc and are totally banned from being imported or sold in UK
HM revenue and Customs - Stopping imports of illegal weapons
Blades UK - FAQ
Criminal justice act 1988
etc etc

personally I think this particular body mod looks disgusting, but then I I love the look of corsetry piercings, so my conclusion is whatever turns you on is okay. (some people feel sickened by corsetry piercings - to me they are very feminine and elegant)
People with multiple piercings forget (or are too young) that 20 years ago their tattooed parents said the same thing about multiple piercings. I myself remember thinking multiple piercings spoiled a persons looks, but know I'm used to it I find it attractive.
The people now getting body mods will laugh at the young people of 20 years in the future getting whatever mods technology of the day allows. For example it may become possible to change the skin colour to bright neon colours that glow in the dark, or have wheels implanted in one's feet

Sounds far fetched I know, but no matter what the children being born now decide to do in the name of anti-fashion when they become young adults, you can be sure many of the brass knuckle implanters of today will criticise them for being "disgusting" and "ugly".
As far as I'm concerned, good on them. Anyone prepared to follow their passion and thumb their nose at those who tell them to "grow up" (what an insult) is a hero in my view. Just remember when you do "grow up", that you once had the same desire to be different.

@max_wedge. i agree with you when you say that its good peopel follow what they believe in, just hate the same minority out there who do it only for attention and to turn heads - these people are just attention seekers...
But to all those out there with a passion for it, good on you for expressing yourself... i personally dont like either corsetry piercing or knuckle duster implants, but each to their own

I agree, but isn't it funny that when people for do things for positive attention such as cosmetic surgery, which is considered "aesthetically pleasing" it's much less shocking and more accepted? But when they do something considered non-aesthetic, such as implant a knuckle duster in their chest, it's considered "attention seeking". Really both forms of body enhancement are done to get attention. For that matter so is dressing in nice clothes. We are all guilty of that at times
Personally I reckon a chick with a corset piercing, tattoos, and nose piercing (for example) is far hotter than some bird with pumped up boobs. (all other things being equal). But of course many would disagree with me, and that's all right too.

Piercings and tattoos can be attractive, if the girl had a nice little tattoo on her chest then yeah, but...seeing those nuckle duster things poking out from an elegant evening dress or whatever...it just isnt pretty. People have done these things because they could, but did they ever stop to consider whether they should?

surely they have to be removed after a while otherwise the body will try to reject a foreign object?

hmm, don't know, what about breast implants? They are good for 15 years or so, and they are a foreign body

such implants don't get rejected generally speaking. Surface piercings (such as corsetry) do however migrate (grow out) after four months or so, depending on the person and the type of piercing.
