me, im from the sweet sweet land of South Africa....

no Dubai is NOT a good place to live unless you want to be under someones thumb all the time and treated like S%&#T all the time.

Yeah the money is good but the locals are not very friendly or caring...

Some are some arent, but money is more important here that people...

Strange that they had alot of celebrations here and trees and decorations up even thought this is a muslim country...

i think it depends, my auntie and uncle live in Abu Dhabi and have never ever had any problems with the locals, from my time over there it seems to de dependant on what walks of life your from as to how they treat you, i know the locals dont give malay/phillipino/sri lakan people the time of day at all. I as a Brisitsh person have had no problems though.

strange!

yh not surprised as well, it actually annoys me. although it shouldnt annoy me but the thing is yh it is like being 2 face, because they dont believe in chritianity and they dont believe that jesus was a god or the son of god, and yet they are immitating somethink they are against lol. Alhumdulillah i am a muslim and i could never immitate somethink i do not believe in ie another faith.

Or are you sure they werent christian arabs? coz there are a few of them in arab countries too you know

(If only i got money to go towards a car!) I got a DS from my sis (the Mario Kart DS bundle)- been whooping @ss on online play (or at least been trying too!- players disconnect when they're loosing so i neva get the victory points!).

I actually wanted the K750i for xmas- i asked my mum to put money towards it but she said my old phone (K500i) was still new (i had it for over a year! Is she nuts!). So i hunted on ebay and bought the phone myself (i soon showed her! I don't need her money! lol).

But then i got to pick out clothes from Republic i wanted and my mum paid for those as my xmas prezzie (i guess i do need her money afterall!). I got a brown wooly hoodie with a zip and a cool brown & blue striped scarf.

From my other sis i got a wkd USB colour changing lamp and aftershave. But i think the K750i i bought myself was the wkdest prezzie!!!
